So today I notice quite a loud static/crackling sound while I was playing the game. I switched out 3 different earphones/headsets (I dont use my comp speakers) and the ALL had the same static/crackling sound, so I know its not the headphones. Its not SUPER loud...in fact during fighting the combat sounds usually overpower the static/crackling sound. But during travel/load screens/ and most importantly during converstations it is definatly annoying. It seems to be tied to Music and Ambient volume, as when I lowered JUST one or the other I still heard it, but when I lowered BOTH to 0 it was gone. And as I raised Musice and Ambient volum higher and higher it was there going louder and louder at all levels. |
Steam Kotor No Sound
Kotor 2 No Sound Windows 10
Kotor 2 No Sound Windows 10. KOTOR 2 has no sound at all. The launcher has sound, but after that I get nothing. I've tried installing everything in compatibilty mode, updated the sound DLL, running the game in admin and compatibility mode. Save hide report. Im trying to play star wars kotor 2 on my vista 32 bit os, and the only way it will play the game is if i go to trouble shooting options and disable the game sound. I really hate to play without sound. Anyone know a way to fix this.
